    How to Copy Video (or Still) Images to Hard Disk of PC / Notebook Computer

Step 1 : Connect Handycam to Computer
Connect Sony DCR-DVD 803E to the computer using USB cable
as provided. Turn the DVD803E on and move the power switch (A)
down for Playback mode (the green lamp is on at B) and now the
DVD803E is in the USB Mode. Wait until the software is automatically
installed then re-start the computer.

Step 2 : Opening the
Picture Package Menu

Open the supplied Picture
Package Menu software
(which was installed earlier).

Select Viewing and Handling
Pictures (1) and click at (2).

Step 3 :

Select DVD (1) then select
DVD Handycam (2) and click
at Movies. The program will
run "Acquiring disc information .."
When finished the thumbnails
or slides of various video shots
are shown 15 shots per page.

Select the movies to be copied
to hard disk.You can select
some of them or all pictures
(4 and 5).

Be sure to click at Options (6)
to select the Final Destination
where the images will be stored
and thus you can find them and
use them later on.

Click Copy to Hard Disk (7).
