Method of Recording Images from a TV or VDR/DVD
  Device to DVD803E

  1. Slide the POWER switch down repeatedly for the

  Play/Edit mode.
  2. Touch P-Menu and select [REC CTRL] and select
  Video Input.
  3. Touch [REC] at the point you want to start recording.
  4. Touch [-] at the point you want to stop recording.
  5. Touch [END]

For a better result use S-Video connection (use optional
AV Cable VMC-30FS), and if you get black and white video

on the LCD of your handycam set the video output of your
DVD player to S-Video as well.

When you take several video shots with natural
sounds which might be very annoyable due to
unwanted sounds such as people talking, wind
blowings, etc. then it is nicer to add music to
those videos.

For those who are not keen at computer using
or can not find a suitable software you can try
recording your videos with music as follows :

1. Finalize the 8 cm video disc in your DVD803E
and put it in a DVD player.
2. Put music CD in the CD Player and prepare to
play the selected song.
3. Insert a blank disc into your DVD803E.
Format the disc if you use a new DVD-RW or
DVD+RW.
4. Connect the supplied A/V cable as shown in
Figure 1. (Video for the DVD player and audio
for the CD player).
5. Playback DVD and CD and record on the
DVD803E.

Note : It may be a little clumsy to do the above
and sound fading can not be made and recording
time is limited to 20-30 minutes for a disc.
