Wireless Microphone ECM-HW2 is a wireless communication system complying with Bluetooth specification Ver. 2.0. The microphone transmitter and receiver are monaural, non- directional system which has a working range of approximately 100 m (300 ft). The microphone (transmitter) uses power from one 1.5 V. AAA size alkaline dry battery or a AAA size Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The operating time for an alkaline battery is approx. 3 hours. Frequency response of the microphone is from 300 - 9000 Hz. The receiver uses power supplied via the Active Interface Shoe (AIS). Power consumption is 0.3 W. when the receiver is attached to the camera. Mode Switch of the Microphone 1. Single Mode : The sound picked up by the microphone only will be recorded. 2. 5.1 ch Mix Mode : When used with a video camera compatible with 5.1 ch recording, this wireless microphone works as the center micro- phone of the 5.1 ch recording. 3. Mono Mix Mode : The sound picked up by both of the microphone and receiver will be recorded monaurally. In either of the three modes, it is possible to hear the sound around the receiver on the microphone side, and the sound around the microphone on the receiver side by connecting the earphones while connected for communications. That makes it possible for the person recording the scene with the video camera and the subject holding the microphone to communicate when apart. Sample Video Clip |
