 Bo Srang umbrella making village is only 9 kms from Chiangmai city. There are handicrafts center, umbrella making center, where one can see people there make paper products by an ancient process, and produce beautiful painted umbrella, and decorative items. On both sides of Chiangmai-San Kamphaeng road, there are many factories of handicrafts, silverware, lacquerware, wood carving, and the famous Thai silk, etc. Visitors can see the hand-made process. |
