สวนพฤกษศาสตร์ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์
Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden (QSBG) was established in
1993 by the Botanic Gardens Organization of Thailand under
the Prime Minister's Office. The QSBG is situated at the
foothills of Doi Suthep-Pui, Mae Rim, Chiangmai Province,
covering an area of about 960 hectares.

The main objectives of the Garden are to serve as a center
of Thai flora for botanic study and research, to render services
concerning biodiversity and environmental conservation, as
well as to provide an aesthetic place for general public.

In 1994, the BGO received a great honor from HM Queen Sirikit
to grant a royal permission to name this garden after Her
Majesty's name.
