Picture Adjustment 1

Better picture can be obtained by using Nikon View 5 software (supplied with the camera) together with Photoshop
(Version 5 or higher). This web page shows the differences between Picture 1 (using Nikon editor and Photoshop)
and Picture 2 (using Photoshop alone). The purpose is to get about the same exposure on the surface of the Chedi.

How to do the picture adjustment.  Open Nikon View 5 and select Nikon Editor. Choose the required picture
which will be loaded as shown in Picture 3. Click the "Auto contrast and color" to see the effects on the
picture then adjust the brightness as you like. This will not change the color of the clouds so much but
increase the brightness of the picture. After these are done click the button to transfer the picture to
Photoshop. When the picture is shown in Photoshop make another adjustments as you like and save
the picture (save as jpeg for web site or save as tiff file for printing).
