       Experiences in Using Nikon D100

  Lens Applications 1

                              By Somkiet Phaloprakarn
As I have already owned Nikon 24-85 mm and 28-200 mm lens when I bought Nikon D100 camera
and these two lens are used frequently. The 24-85 mm lens has the macro for taking closed up
objects and it is very useful. For long distance object the zoom 28-200 mm lens is sufficient for
my need. After using Nikon D100 for about one month I found that the 24-85 mm lens is not sufficient
for wide angle pictures because of the cropping factor of 1.5. Thus the 24 mm focal length turns out
to be 36 mm with this digital camera. Therefore, I bought another 18-35 mm lens (which is not
too expensive). Now the picture takings are under my control.

For general use sometimes only this lens
can still work for the whole trip e.g. temple
and historical park tours.

Picture 3   Circular Polarizing Filter (77 mm) ,
thin edge, is recommended. With the CPL
pictures are much more excited.
