         Using Wide End Conversion Lens
                   For Travel Pictures

As for a serious photo armature who owns Nikon cameras with many lenses I have changed to
digital photography, started August 2001, with Sony CD300 because of the good quality pictures
and the new hi-tech CD-R/CD-RW picture recording media. In early December 2001 I bought another
digital camera to use together with the first one. This new camera is Sony DSC-F707 with 5 mega-
pixels resolution. Not only the sharpness and other attractive quality such as vivid pictures, etc.
I am very impressed with the zoom capability of 190 mm. However, I still want an ideal camera with
wide angle capability as well as zoom capability. The 38 mm wide angle is not sufficient for my work
and the lens is not changeable. Luckily Sony has the solution and the Wide End Conversion Lens
suits my need. I started to take more pictures and keep on going back to many places with the
intention to have better pictures. The results are very satisfactory as you can see many new
pictures in Bangkoksite.com Digital Pictures Galleries.

The approximate wide angle effect from
the use of Wide End Conversion Lens
with Sony F707 is compared to the
case without this lens. The effect is
also shown in comparison with Sony
CD300 (28 mm).
