THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI MOVIE

the River Kwai", was filmed based
on a novel published by French
author, Pierre Boulle. The story was loosely based on a true World
War II incident. This movie shows
the hardwork performed by the
British prisoners of war under the
strict control of the Japanese, and
finally the railway bridge across the
river Kwai was built. However, it
was destroyed by the Allied POWs.

The movie was filmed in Cinemascope and runs for about
167 minutes. There were some
Thai stars appeared in the scenes.
