Prang Sam Yot Lopburi's best known landmark is Phra Prang Sam Yot, the former Hindu Shrine located close to the railway station. The laterite and sandstone structure was constructed in the Lopburi style and decorated with stucco. The three towers signify the Hindu Trinity of Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. During the reign of King Narai the Great the shrine was converted to a Buddhist temple. ![]() |
