Lamphya floating market is located at Tambon Lamphya, Banglen District in Nakhon Pathom Province. It is about 55 kilometers from Bangkok. This floating market is active on Saturday and Sunday where a lot of local people come to sell fruits, vegetables, desserts, and many kinds of foods. Also, at the floating market which is in the compound of Wat Lamphya, there are souvenir shops. Visitors can see demonstration of the traditional way of making "Khao Hom Mali" rice and one can try to do it.   Rice Making Demonstration Famous Thai rice preparation process is shown for tourists. Khao Hom Mali rice is also for sale here. Basketry Weaving Java weed is the plant that grows in water and easily available. Village people developed this into beautiful hand-made products. Basketry products are all hand-made by the people of Lamphya and nearby villages. This is an interesting souvenir to take home.
