Night 1Patong Beach is the most developed area and has become the center of all the actions in Phuket. The beach is located 15 kms west of Phuket Town. Patong Beach is approximately 3 kms long and slope gently into the Andaman Sea. Patong has a vast number of shops, restaurants, hawker food stalls, shopping malls, beer gardens and bars, and many hotels. It is one of the most interesting place for unlimited shopping opportunities.   Here during the day time it has an atmosphere of a seaside cosmopolitan and you can see people from over the world. In the evening the atmosphere has changed to a more exciting action together with the light and sound and a lot more people coming to have dinner and entertainment. Concerning the food, there are more than 240 restaurants listed in the Phuket Gazette, and so many good restaurants of several nationalities such as : Italian, Greek, Scandinavian, Japanese, Austrian, German, Mexican, French, Indian, Dutch, Swiss, Belgian, American, Thai and Seafood restaurants are highly recommended. Patong entertainment is a mojor attraction for tourists and visitors.There are bars, nightclubs, beer bars, discotheques, etc. |
