Sao Chaliang is located on highway No.2112, on the way to
Pha Taem, about 11 kilometers from Khong Chiam district office.
This natural rock formation forms a mushroom-like mass.
Fissilised seashells, pebbles and sand can be seen in the stone
slabs. Geologists believed the area must have been on the
seabed about 1,000,000 years ago.
