Mae Ping River

The famous river running through Chiang Mai city
is the Mae Ping River. For visitors coming by train
when going into the city center you will cross Nawarat
Bridge and see Mae Ping River.

Near Nawarat Bridge, the Mae Ping River banks are
beautifully landscaped. There are many popular
restaurants on the riverside but they are nicely located
on land and not expanding into the river like other
places. We experienced the restaurants such as :
the Riverside, the Good View, the Gallery which is
opposite to the Oriental Style, and there are many more.
