SanDisk ImageMate 6 in 1 (USB 2.0)
Card reader/writer 6 in 1 for CompactFlash Type I and II,
MicroDrive, SmartMedia, MultiMediaCard, SecureDigital and
Memory Stick.

Our Tests :
We connected SanDisk ImageMate 6 in 1 Reader/Writer into the
USB 2.0 jack, turn on the Pentium IV, 2 GHz PC using Windows 2000
then the ImageMate was found.

Results of the tests to transfer image files to HD of the PC are as follows :
Media Capacity Image Files (MB) Time (Sec) Transfer Rate
(MB/Sec)
CF 256 239 127 1.88
CF 256 215 124 1.73
CF 512 344 213 1.62
CF 512 358 201 1.78
MS 128 106 104 1.02

Comparison with USB 1.1 Card Reader (Card Reader -->PC HD)

Model Transfer Rate
(MB/Sec)
Percentage
SanDisk USB 2.0 1.80 225
Kingston USB 1.1 0.80 100

Testing for copying image files from PC to media cards (CF and MS)

Media Capacity Image Files (MB) Time (Sec) Transfer Rate
(MB/Sec)
CF 256 108 115 0.94
MS 128 108 147 0.74

The media cards after pulled out from the SanDisk reader can be used
in the camera or can be used to copy images into the HD of Super-
Digibin without any problems.

Comment : The image files transfer speed, using SanDisk CF card and
Sony MS, should be faster than indicated from my tests. The computer
is brand new with USB 2.0 card provided from the supplier.
