 Villagers in Nan Province have special skills
in weaving silk and cotton fabrics. The Lai Nam
Lai hand woven silk is the most famous heritage
and several beautiful designs are made by
many house-wife groups. These fabrics cost
from 500 Baht to more than 2,500 Baht per
piece (US.$ 12-58). For Thai people, the 500
Baht per piece fabric if bought locally is cheap.
