Thailand
Tourism Festival 2001 is held during October 26th.
to November 4th. this year at the Impact International
Exhibition Center, Muangthong Thani, Nonthaburi. The
festival is organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand
(TAT) aims to show the importance of Thailand's unique
cultural and natural heritage and encourage domestic
tourism. The opening hours are from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00
p.m. daily.

The
information technology
section has tourism web sites,
e-business web sites and
internet cafe. One of them
is the www.thaitambon.com
which provides information on
local hand-made products
from each sub-district in
Thailand. This web site is
a portal site for products and
for the promotion of tourism
into rural villages. It will
incorporate e-commerce
next year. Now, it is mainly
in Thai, but a part is also in
English.
