reign of King Rama III around 1834 - 1843.
It is here that the rite of a monk's ordination
takes place. |

The presiding Buddha image in the bot
was cast
during the Third Reign within the precincts of the
Royal Palace. It was entitled "Phra Buddha Tri
Lokachet" by King Rama IV.

Rattanakosin art, painted during the Third Reign.
It depicts the life of the Buddha. |
