Biyok232.gif (6890 bytes) In December 1998, when I came up with the idea of building
a web site of my own I started to find out what should be the
first few web pages for Bangkok. Of course viewing Bangkok
from the highest building at that time was selected. About 5
years went by there are probably a thousand of web pages
already built for Bangkoksite.com.

As of May 2004, I have added a lot of pictures and information
for Bangkok as well as the other provinces. It is the time to
concentrate more in Bangkok and its neighborhood. Therefore,
the "Inside Bangkok" web pages have been constructed.

Bangkok which is locally called "Krung Thep"
which means the City of Angels established in
1782 by King Rama I as the capital of Siam at
that time. Bangkok has retained its traditional
charm with a mixture of old cultural heritage
and new modern skyscrapers, luxurious hotels,
shopping centers, street shoppings, famous
Thai food, restaurants, sports, entertainment, etc.
