Canon PowerShot Pro1 is a good camera with many features. There are Pro and Cons and a lot of comments
from several reviews, and from Canon Talk Forum. We would like to share some experiences in Bangkoksite
Digital Photography. (We do not have any connection with the supplier nor the benefit from this article at all).
1. Landscape Pictures. Canon Pro 1 produces excellent
landscape pictures. The colors are beautiful and especially
the sky color is just like nature. The clouds are visible
even without polarizing filter. One good thing is that the
color of the sky is consistence from the left to the right of
the picture.

2. Contrast. The contrast is excellent and better than
other digital cameras that I have used.

and the bright area outdoor.

3. Macro Pictures. Canon Pro 1 can take macro
pictures if the closest distance from the lens to the
subject is between 10 - 50 cms. This is generally
acceptable but users will have to be careful about
the distance. Otherwise the picture can be blurred.
Macro focusing in low light is difficult unless we
have to try several times. However, if you have
time and experiences in using it the pictures can
be sharp and beautiful.

4. Macro Pictures Using Built-in Flash. The test was
made for macro picture using the built-in flash. Because
the distance from the lens to the subject is short I have
to try adjusting the flash EV value such that the picture
is not over exposed.
