Wide Angle Capability : Canon PowerShot G9 at Widest Angle (without Wide Converter Lens) 35 - 210 mm lens (6X) (35 mm equivalent), F2.8 - 4.8 This picture was shot to test the wide angle capability of Canon G9 itself (35 mm). At this temple, tourists stood at the farthest distance which is at the main entrance to take picture because they wanted the whole temple. The G9 wide angle (35 mm) in this case is just good enough.
		Canon PowerShot G9 Wide Angle Picture with WC-DC58B Wide Converter Lens This picture shows that the wide converter lens is very effective in wide angle photography. Since G9 picture was shot with the aspect ratio of 4 : 3 it will look nicer if aspect ratio of 3 : 2 is used. This can be done by trimming the original picture, using Canon's ZoomBrowserEX software.
