Transportation from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Bangkok City  (Getting to the City)

		Airport Express Buses : Airport Express air-conditioned buses service between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Bangkok with 4 routes. Route AE1 : Destination Silom Route AE2 : Destination Banglumpoo (Khao San Road) Route AE3 : Destination Sukhumvit, and Route AE4 : Destination Hua Lampong Railway Station. Other Information : Contact the Airport Express Bus counter located at Entrance 8 on the 1st Floor of the passenger building. Ticket costs 150 Baht per person for the whole route. It takes 60 - 90 minutes to reach the destination due to many stops. Airport Express bus operates hourly from 5.00 am in the morning to midnight. 		Public Taxis : Public taxis counters are located at the Arrivals on the 2nd Floor near Entrances 3, 4, 7 and 8. You will be asked for your destination and a slip with your destination written on it will be given. All taxis are metered and drivers are certified by the airport. Fair charges includes meter readings plus 50 Baht airport surcharge and 25 Baht expressway toll. A trip to the city will cost between 300 - 400 Baht.
		Limousine Service : Limousine Service Counters are located at the Arrivals n the 2nd Floor. This is 24-hr service and the fare is fixed by distance. The fare from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Sukhimvit is around 800 Baht.
		Car Rental Service : Car Rental Service Counters are located at the Arrivals on the 2nd Floor. Be sure to have valid driving license and get use to driving on the left side of the road, and especially the traffic and driving behavior of local people.
		Public Bus Service : There are 24-hr public bus service at the airport. The bus terminal is located at theTransportation Center. You can take a shuttle bus (Express route) from the Arrivals outside the 2nd Floor to the Transport Center. Fares of public bus service ranges between 30 - 35 Baht. The useful bus routes : Bus Number 551 - Suvarnabhumi Airport to Victory Monument (Expressway).
..		Airport Rail Link Service : The elevated rail links between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Bangkok are : 1. Express Line : Suvarnabhumi Airport to Makkasan City Air Terminal, a  distance of 25.7 kms (16 miles), non-stop, travelling time 15 minutes. 2. City Line : Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phayathai Station via Lad Krabang, Ban Tabchang, Hua Mak, Ramkamhaeng, Makkasan/Asoke, and Ratchaprarop stations, a total distance of 28.5 kms (17.7 miles). The travelling time will be 28 minutes.
	.	Hint for Going to Khao San Road : From Suvarnabhumi Airport to Khao San Road the cheapest way is to use Airport Express Bus Route AE2 to Banglumpoo which is so close to Khao San Rd. The fare is 150 Baht per person. For 2 -3 persons it is better to use Public Taxis from the airport. The taxi fare including airport surcharge and tollway charge will be about 350 - 400 Baht, but it is faster.
