Some Experiences and Comments for Canon Pro 1

10. Summary of the Tests
So far I have tested Pro 1 as shown in the Pro 1 Main Page , although limited, and based on the "amateur"
point-of-view only. The summary can be made as follows :

10.1 Pros

1	Excellent for outdoor and landscape pictures. The sky colors are very beautiful and especially when "vivid" is used.	Mostly people take pictures outdoor.
2	Very good contrasts, very good and true colors.	Contrasts indoor and outdoor are visible and can be seen clearly.
3	Taking pictures from the fast moving car is possible and the quality is quite good.	Good for travelling in the city when passing by, or no parking.
4	The 28 - 200 mm lens is sufficient for picture takings. The wide angle 28 mm is sufficient for the general need and there is no need to carry many lens for the trip.	Very convenient and satisfactory.
5	Small and compact but fit in the hands very nicely.	Can carry anywhere.
6	White balance is good.	Custom setting is also easy and becomes very useful.
7	Good flash performance, the built-in flash gives good results.	Very handy for general use.
8	Conveniently located function buttons, once learned it is easy to use.	Save time to change settings or to check the effects of pictures.

10.2 Cons

No.	Description	Note
1	No AF assist lamp and focusing under low light is difficult.	Require stronger light, more practices, or to use flash light.
2	The separation of Macro and Super Macro modes make it not so convenient for fast picture taking, and the resolutions are also diffirent (the resolution of Super Macro is reduced to 2272 x 1704 pixels).	Depend on the design concept and applications of the users.
3	Time lag for the next picture taking is to be considered, and it requires longer focusing time sometimes (i.e. longer continuous shooting speed).	Actions could be missed.
